Mrs. Peter Hanson passed away at Quamba Monday evening at the age of 74 years, five months and 21 days. She was the mother of Hans Peterson of Mora; also of P.H. peterson and Mrs. O.P. Meyer of Quamba. Other surviving relatives are two sisters who reside in Sweden. Mrs. Hanson was injured by a fall six month ago, causing bone fractures of the left limb, and have been an invalid since that time. The deceased was born in Ofvansjo By, Borgsjo Socken, Vesternorlands Lan, Sweden, April 4th, 1842. Her maiden name was Karin Person. March 13th, 1862, she was married to Peter Hanson. In 1881 Mr. and Mrs. Hanson with their children came to America, locating in Chisago County. Five years later they moved to Kanabec County, locating on a farm at Mud Lake. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at two o'clock from the Mora M.E. Church with Rev. W. G. Boyle officiating. The remains will be interred in Oakwood cemetery.
