FileFormatted by Terri--MNArchives Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Joanne Bledsoe ========================================================================= THE OLSON/NILSEN/JOHNSON/ELVEBAK FAMILY ANE MARIE JOHANSDATTER OLSON was born near Mo I Rana, Nordland, Norway in 1837. She was the daughter of Pernille Johannesdatter (born 1798) and John Andreassen (born 1809). She grew up on a farm called Elvebakken. In 1865, she sailed for America with her sisters family (Pernille Nilsdatter Nilson). She met her husband in Minnesota and they settled on a farm in Willmar near the toe of Foot Lake. There, her children Julia, Ida, Marie, Adolph, Olof and Marcus were born. In 1895, the family moved to Seattle where they opened a grocery store. Ane Marie died in 1919 and is buried next to her husband John in Mt Pleasant Cemetery in Seattle.
