FileFormatted by Terri--MNArchives Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Joanne Bledsoe ========================================================================= The following information was compiled from family bible records, books and records provided to me by the Kandiyohi Historical Society, Norwegian census documents, a contact at the University of Tromso in Norway, and Janet Grey in St Cloud, Minnesota who had alot of family records on the Johnson/Nilson family. OLOF THEODOR OLSON was born in Willmar April 1877. He moved to Seattle with his family and in 1898 he and his sister Marie travel to the Yukon to join his brother Adolph and father John Olson in their search for gold. Olof left the Yukon in 1910 and moved to Flat Alaska. In Flat, he was involved in mining with his partner Ben Cedermalm. Olof never married. He spent his last few years at the Old Pioneer Home in Sitka. He died February 1960 and is also buried in the Old Pioneer Cemetery in Sitka.
