Farrell Daugherty, old resident of Kandiyohi, died Thursday night after a months illness. Willmar relatives received the sad message yesterday morning, announcing the death of Farrel Daugherty, which occurred on Thursday night at 11:45 at his home in Kandiyohi, after a month's illness. Death was due to paralysis of the bowels. Deceased was 79 years of age. Mr. Daugherty was one of the early settlers of the county, having resided here for the past 36 years, and was well known in this city. He is survived by his wife and following children: John Daugherty, Kandi.; Dominic Daugherty, Mrs. M. Downs, Town of Green Lake; Mrs. Dan Downs, Town of Green Lake; Mrs. M. Casey, Morris and Mrs. N. Whitney of this city. The funeral will be held next Monday at 10:30 a.m. from St. Patrick's Church at Kandiyohi, Rev. Father Malloy officiating.
