FileFormat by Terri--MNArchives Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Steve Swiontek Submitted: July 2007 ========================================================================= February 16, 1901 Victoria, Beloved wife of Mr. Patrick Daily at Hallock, Minn., on Wednesday, February 13th, 1901, of heart disease, at the age of 27 years. Mrs. Daly had been ill for about a week but her case was not considered serious. Wednesday evening about 7 o'clock she complained of not feeling well and Dr. Demars was summoned but it was too late; Mrs. Daly Died two minutes after her arrived. Besides two sisters, who reside at Kennedy, and mother at Stephen; deceased leaves a husband and four children to mourn her loss. Mr. Daly recently returned from the Klondike where he went three years since in search of fortune and finding a suitable location returned to join his family and take them to the new country; they were preparing to leave March 1sst. Many friends will join with the News in sympathy for the bereaved ones. Funeral services were conduct from the Catholic church, of which Mrs. Daly was a devoted member, at high noon on Friday, Feb.15th; and the remains were laid to rest in Northcote cemetery. ========================================================================= Copyright Steve Swiontek 2007.
