Oct.30. For Joe O'Gorek, 56, At Hallock Funeral services were held art 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 30, Joseph O'Gorek, who passed away at the Kittson Memorial Hospital, Wednesday morning, October 27. He attained the age if 54 years, 1 month, and 36 days. Death came suddenly to Mr. O'Gorek when was stricken with a stoke at his home. He has been ill in health for several years though his condition was not critical previously, The Funeral Service was held at the Larson Funeral Chapel with Father Merth officiating, Interment was made at the Northcote Cemetery, Joseph O'Gorek was born August 31st 1895 to Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence O'Gorek in St. Joseph Township, Kittson County, Joe spent all his lie in Kittson County, having resided in St Joseph and Grandville township's., Joe operated a farm in St Joseph until a few years ago when his health became such he could no longer continue farming operations, He then move to Lancaster where his resided since. He was baptized in the Roman Catholic Faith. Te deceased was preceded by his parent and his two others. Stanley an William and one sister, Victoria., He is survived by two brothers, Frank of Lancaster and John of Roseau County, two sisters, (Julia), Mrs. Alex Leakview of Lancaster and Mrs. Mike Kieb of Morton, North Dakota. Joseph O'Gorek was a man of quiet disposition. He work diligently and enjoyed the out-of-doors. Joe will be remembered as a man of sterling qualities, which directed his attentions town his own endeavors which were marked by success.
