They were staying with Frank Stay on his farm place while Joseph was very ill. After Joseph's death Cecilia married Frank Stay. She had had seven children with Joseph (two dying in infancy) and had another six children with Frank (one dying in infancy) most of the babies buried here were Cecilia's grandchildren. The farm is located in Section 32 of Camp Release Township, Lac qui Parle Co., Minnesota. It is along County Road 20 or 230th St. and you take a turn to the south on a township gravel road. The farm itself is located in the river bottoms and there is a wooden cross along the road which shows where the cemetery is on the top of the hill. It is located approximately 4 miles southwest on County Rd 20 of the Village of Watson, or 4 ½ miles east on County Rd. 20 of the Village of Lac qui Parle. It is also just west of the "Stay Bridge" which crosses the Minnesota River near the farm. GRAVES IN THE STAY CEMETERY ON THE HILL OVERLOOKING THE STAY FARM: 1) Joseph CHARRON Mar 1838-Dec 04,1879 only grave with a headstone. 2) Infant son of Onazime and Alma(JACOBSON)STAY Dec 23,1905?? 3) Mary BANET-daughter of Antoinette CHARRON BANET and her husband Joseph BANET--- Probable burial there from information of Cecilia Margaret Stay. 4) Infant son of Annie(KIVELY)and John CHARRON. Jun 08,1908-Jun 08 1908 5) Infant son of Annie(KIVELY)and John CHARRON Dec 08,1910-Dec 09,1910. 6) Loyd Francis STAY -son of Frank STAY Jr and Josephine (LOKKEN) STAY Oct 14,1906-Jun 30,1909.
