Found in the 1920, 1930 censuses living at Parker, Morrison, Minnesota: 1920: Paul Jaschke 41, Gertrude Jaschke 31, Evelyn E Jaschke 7, Caroline G Jaschke 5, Leo P Jaschke 2 yrs 4 mos, Margaret P Jaschke 1. 1930: Paul Jaschke 51, Gertrude Jaschke 41, Evelin E Jaschke 17, Caroline G Jaschke 15, Leo Paul Jaschke 13, Margaret B Jaschke 11, Mat John Jaschke 9, Mark Jasehki 7, Cathrine M Jasehki 4, Ernest E Jasehki 2 yrs 7 mos.\ Found in the 1940 census at Minneapolis, Hennipin, Minnesota: Charles J Kelly 38, Margaret G Kelly 38, Charles Kelly 10, Caroline G Jaschke 25, working as a house servant. Caroline married Harvey Walter Klinker on August 23, 1942 at Fort Bragg, Cumberland, North Carolina. The couple had 12 children. She died October 20, 2006 at Duluth, St Louis, Minnesota and is buried at the Silver Bay Cemetery, Silver Bay, Lake, Minnesota. Newspaper Obituary: Caroline Gertrude Klinker, 92, longtime resident of Finland, died Friday Oct. 20, 2006, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Duluth. She was born Sept. 26, 1914, to Paul and Gertrude (Kempenich) Jaschke in Randall, where she grew up and attended school. Caroline married Harvey Klinker on Aug. 23, 1942, in South Carolina. They made their home in various locations, before settling in Finland in the early 1950s. In 1955, she helped start St. Mary's Catholic Church in Silver Bay. Through the years, Caroline kept busy as a homemaker and raising 11 children. She was a member of the VFW, Circle Meeting, Birthday Club and St. Mary's Catholic Church, Silver Bay. Caroline enjoyed hunting and fishing with Harvey, making necktie quilts, crafting, cooking, and was always ready to lend a helping hand. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Harvey; an infant son; four sisters; five brothers; and grandson Christopher Mellick. Caroline is survived by her sons, James (Diane), Two Harbors, Joseph (Lois), Underwood, Charles, Michael (Teri), Thomas (Elaine) and Anthony, all of Finland; daughters, Nancy (Francis) Motzko, White Bear Lake, Rosemary (Ronald) Tedrick, Eveleth, Barbara (William) Kofstad, Finland, Theresa (James) Osweiler, Bloomington and Dorothy Mellick, Finland; sister Audrey Baron, Browerville; 29 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and 37 nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass was Tuesday, Oct. 24, at St. Mary'’s Catholic Church, Silver Bay. Burial in Silver Bay Cemetery.
