Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Bill Kinkel ========================================================================= Reinhardt Wagner, was born in Brookville, in Franklin County, Indiania. Oct 6, 1844 and came with his parents to Sharon, Le Sueur County, Minnesota about the year 1855. These were the pioneer days with plenty of pioneer experience. He was a soundly converted as a young man and joined the Methodist Church, in which he was an honored member, and a office bearer to the end of his life. On Feb 13 1868 he was married to Marie E Kinkel, and had he lived to Feb 13 1918, they could have celebrated their golden wedding. In 1870, they moved to Le Sueur.They thought much of their home and are now building a new home for the comforts of the declining days. He was anxious to see the new home,but was gradually convinced that he would not enter in it, but instead would enter the home prepared over there for him, and passed away about midnight of May 14, 1917 at the age of 72 years 7 months and 1 day. He is survived by his lifes partner for many years , one daughter Mrs William King [Ella] of Northfield, Herbert Wagner of Waukon,Minnesota; and Walter Wagner of Sioux City Iowa. Four Brothers, two Sisters, five Grand Children and many relatives. and friends. The Funeral was held at the German M.E. Church at 2 P.M Friday. The Rev. Berger officiated. The interment was in Mounds Cemetery.
