Rooke and Miss Bessie Porteous were united in marriage on Tuesday, at 11 o'clock a.m., at the home of the bride's father, R. Porteous, in town of Warrenton. Rev. E. F. Spicer, of this city tied the nuptial knot. A large number of friends of the contracting parties witnessed the ceremony. The happy couple left on the evening's train on a wedding trip. Both bride and groom are well and favorably known and a host of friends, including the SHEAF extend to them the most hearty congratulations and wish them much joy and happiness in life. -MARRIED: Miss Marie Midthun and Mr. T. Bang were married last Saturday afternoon at the Scandinavian M. E. church by Rev. H. Ostgulen. The bridesmaids were Miss Ingrid Olson, of Grand Forks, and Miss Bertha Haraldson, and the best men A. B. Isaacson and Axel Swandby. The reception was held at Rev. H. Ostgulen's, uncle of the bride. Numerous invited guests were present and partook of an elaborate wedding dinner and supper and spent a social time together. The married couple were the recipients of a large number of valuable and ornamental presents. The SHEAF joins in with the hosts of friends and relatives of the young couple to wish them a happy and prosperous voyage over life's billowy sea.
