Mr. and Mrs. Hansen have both been at the H. C. Hanson home since last July. Mr. Hansen was born in Moen, Denmark, May 26, 1842. On May 26, 1874, he was married to Mariana Jacobsen who now survives to mourn his death. Besides his sorrowing wife he leaves to mourn one brother, Jens, in Denmark, four daughters, Mrs. Sarah Hanson of Hutchinson, Mrs. May Damskov of Portland, Oregon, Mrs. Martha Josephson of Sidney, Montana, and Miss Dora Hanson of Minneapolis and four sons, H. P. Hansen of Portland, James and Rev. S. J. Hansen of Chicago and Herman of Los Angeles. The funeral services were conducted at one o'clock from the house and two o'clock from the Danish Lutheran church Tuesday afternoon the Rev. J. Th. Lund officiating. The Pallbears were Charles and Jorgen Jorgenson, P. C. K. Peterson, Ole Olson, Louie Tange and Pete Olson. Mr. Hanson's death was to to apoplexy. Hutchinson Press Issue: 31 Jan 1924 Page: 8
