Jorgenson ------------------------------------------------- Independent Times, Hutchinson, MN, 5 April 1905, page 1. A. Jorgensen died at his home in this city on Saturday from dropsy from which he has been a sufferer for more than a year, aged 67 years. The deceased was born in Denmark and grew to manhood there, and was married there forty-two years ago. He emigrated to this country in 1887 and coming to Minnesota settled on a farm near Lake Marion. Here he resided until five or six years ago when he removed to this city where he has since made his home, working at the carpenter trade until the state of his health prevented. He is survived by his wife and seven children, one of whom, Christian, resides in Denmark. Those here are: Mrs. Chris. Petersen, Peter Hansen, Peter Olsen and Carl Jorgensen of this city, and Jergen of Seattle, Wash., and Anton of Winona, Minn. The funeral services were held Monday noon, Rev. K. Knudsen officiating. _______________
