The second is from another local newspaper (Stewart's I believe): Mrs. Kate Piehl, 83, Dies from Heart Attack at Backus Was Mother of Roy Piehl of Renville, Funeral held Saturday Funeral services: at Stewart last Saturday for Mrs. Kate Piehl, Age: 83 Son: Roy Piehl, of Renville With the exception of the past three years Mrs. Piehl had lived on a farm near Stewart all of her married life. Since leaving the farm she has lived with her son at Backus, Minn., except for some time spent at the homes of other children. Survived by: six daughters, five sons and three sisters. Funeral services: Kloempken funeral home, Congregational church, Stewart By: Rev. Conrad Landelius Burial: Stewart Village cemetery. Attending from Renville: besides the Roy Piehl family were Robt.
