Funeral services were held on Friday, May 2, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Onamia with Rev. William McNiff officiating. Burial was at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Onamia. Arrangements were with Shelley Funeral Chapel of Onamia. Audrey is survived by daughters Kathaleen (Larry) Johnson of Inver Grove Heights and Marlis (Cliff) Sasker of Onamia; son Jim (Phyllis) Flasch of Brooklyn Park; sister Edna Swanson of Blaine; nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin, parents Willard and Lettie (Mary Celestia Remington) Moore, brother, Willard Moore and grandson Ben Sasker. Audrey Marion Moore was born on August 30, 1918 in Sioux Falls, S.D. to the late Willard and Lettie Moore. As a young girl she moved with her family to Red Top near Isle. It was here that Audrey grew up and met Alvin John Flasch. The young couple was united in marriage on January 5, 1939 in Wahkon. To this union one son and two daughters were born. Audrey and Alvin raised their children south of Onamia on their small family farm where she lived until the time of her death. Audrey enjoyed flower gardening, knitting, crossword puzzles and trips in the car to see the colored leaves in autumn. She also enjoyed watching the wild life that would come to her feeders and spending time with her family. Issue date: May 7, 2003.
