Bertha Sukow Neubauer

  

 Bertha Sukow was born Feb 1863 in Pommern, Prussia. She was the third 

child and second daughter born to August Karl and Carolina Mundt Sukow.  

Her older siblings included Albertina Sukow Stern (born in 1858) and 

August Sukow (born in 1860).  Her younger sister Augusta was born in 1867 

when Bertha was four years old.  Bertha immigrated to the United States 

in 1884. Her brother, mother and two sisters immigrated to the United 

States and lived in Mower County, Minnesota.  She married Wilhelm 

Neubauer 1887 in Mower County, Minnesota.  He was born in 1863 in Germany 

and his family also immigrated to Mower County.  Her brother August, 

married her husband's sister, Augusta Neubauer.



William and Bertha and their family lived in Mower County and attended 

Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.  Bertha and her husband William 

(Wilhelm) had six sons and two daughters.

    viii HARRY NEUBAUER

 Bertha died in Sherwood, North Dakota.
