FileFormat by Terri--MNArchives Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Connie and Larry Tonding Submitted: April 2005 ========================================================================= The following information was taken from the Lansing Cemetery which is located near the Village of Lansing, in Mower County, Minnesota. From Interstate 90 take exit 177 and proceed approximately 4.4 miles North to Lansing Corners Restaurant. Turn East and go 1.2miles and the cemetery will be on the South side of the road. This cemetery was established in 1861...I do not know the exact size in acres. With permission I personally walked this cemetery with some help from my husband Larry. When I walked this cemetery, I did it in three sections. Beginning at the East side of the entry road and continuing around to the center road at the back of the cemetery is the East Section. From the other side of the road at the back of the cemetery and around to the entry road is the West Section. And the circle on the inside of the road is the Center Section. There is an entire section behind the existing cemetery which has not yet been used. I have included as much information as was possible from each family plat. This file was contributed by Connie and Larry Tonding. ========================================================================= This is the end of the East Section of the Lansing Cemetery SEAVEY, Samuel C Jan 31,1855-Jun 09,1932 SEAVEY, Harriet O Jun 15,1859-Feb 24,1900 National Women's Relief Corps Also large stone with family name only CLOUGH, A 1866 McINTYRE, Herbert E Oct 03,1876-Feb 28,1877 McINTYRE, Albert H Aug 30,1879-Nov 25,1879 Children of HM and AC McIntyre.
