Personal research
Arnold Clayton Scheffel was born May 11, 1949 at Austin, Mower, Minnesota to 
Richard Scheffel and Minnie Helle. He had 2 siblings, a brother and a sister.

Arnie attended the Carpenter and St. Ansgar Community Schools through the ninth
grade.  
grade.  He then attended Lyle High School and graduated from there in 1967.  He
attended
attended Austin Community College, Austin, Minnesota.  He farmed with his father o
father on a farm west of Lyle and they milked cows.  He worked for Massey Ferguson
Ferguson in Albert Lea, MN. for two years.  He enjoyed playing softball, bowling,
bowling, and spending time with his friends and family.  

He was married on May 3, 1969 to Melody Ann Olsen. The couple had 3 children, 2
girls 
girls and a boy.

Arnold C Scheffel was killed in a tragic automobile accident near Austin, Minn
Minnesota on August 29, 1982. 

He is buried at the Woodbury Cemetery, Lyle, Mower, Minnesota. Find A Grave Me
