FileFormat by Terri--MNArchives Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Jane Wilson Adams Submitted: July 2005 ========================================================================= Cyril Smith Wilson was born March 4, 1834, at Youngsville, Warren Co., Penn, son of Abram C. and Samantha S. Wilson. A part of his youth was spent in Ohio. At the age of twelve he moved with his parents to Pewaukee, Waukesha Co., Wis. In 1856 he came to Minnesota and preempted land in Pleasant Valley. Was married Jan. 31, 1861, to Martha E. Gates, of Pewaukee, Wis. In 1863 they moved to Pleasant valley where they resided until 1787 when they then moved to Racine, where they have since lived. He died Sept. 10, 1900, at the age of 66 years, 6 months and 6 days, after an illness of about a year, death being caused by cancer of the stomach. He is survived by his wife, an only brother, two daughters and four sons, who mourn his loss.
