She was born May 4, 1951 to parents, George Pawlitschek and Ruth (Stine) Pawlitschek. Jeanne grew up in Dundee and graduated from Fulda Public School. After graduating she attended Worthington Community College for two years. After her school, Jeanne worked for the Unemployment Office in Worthington. Jeanne was united in marriage to William Benson, on November 19, 1977 at the Pfingston Lutheran Church in rural Fulda. After their marriage the couple lived in Westbrook and later moved to Worthington in 1978. During their marriage the couple managed the Golf Park Apartments in Worthington for eight years. Jeanne was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Dundee. She enjoyed antiquing, attending flea markets, craftshows and cooking. She also enjoyed collecting animal figurines. Jeanne is survived by her husband, William Benson, Worthington; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, James Pawlitschek. Funeral service at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 5, with Father Larry Brixius officiating.
