She attended school in Slayton and in 1945 was united in marriage to Ralph Wesley Brown. She then moved to Alexandria and was married to Paul Boever. During her time in Alexandria Donna was employed by Sauby insulation and the Douglas County Senior Citizen Center. In 2003 Donna entered the Crestview Manor Nursing Home where she resided until her death on April 9, 2005. She is survived by her husband Paul of Alexandria, sons Larry (Roxy) Brown of Elk River, MN, Roger (Claudia) Brown of Chandler, AZ, daughters Trudy (Harold) Peterson of Brandon and Janet (Edward) Elbert of Big Stone City, SD, brother Raymond (Beulah) Powell of Slayton, and sister Dorothy (Edward) Finch of California. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Ralph Brown, and brother Ernest Powell. Funeral services were held at Grace Lutheran Church of Brandon, MN on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Interment was at Brandon Cemetery, Brandon, MN.
