Bremer, 58, Platte City, MO, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2005, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, MO. Funeral services were held on Friday, January 21, at Rollins Funeral Chapel, Platte City. Interment will be in Leavenworth National Cemetery in Leavenworth, KS. Wayne was born April 20, 1946, in Slayton,MN, to Fred and Bertha (Spielman) Bremer. He graduated from high school in Lake Wilson, MN. Wayne was employed by Platte City Ford, the Claycomo Ford Plant, and worked for 20 years as a field mechanic for Capital Electric Co. His passion was cooking for many family, friends, and Mr. Bibs BBQ Catering. Wayne was involved with the Platte County Fair and participated in many BBQ events in the area. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Bertha (Spielman) Bremer, and two brothers, Fred and Lloyd Bremer. He is survived by his wife, Susan Link Bremer, of the home; sons Jonathan W. Bremer, Kansas City, MO, Scoot Foster, Camden Point, MO, and Skip Foster, Austin, TX; daughters DeAnne Trave, Dearborn,MO, Dinah Pinnick, Lawrence, KS, and Debbie Grame, Platte City; brother Dennis Bremer; and four sisters, Darlene Sandhurst, Evelyn Bass, Gladys Henningsen, and Lucille Magnus. Wayne is also survived by 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
