She grew up, living on various farms in Minnesota and graduated from Westbrook High School in 1939. Jeraldine was united in marriage to Charles Alro Bunker on October 4, 1941, in Balaton, Minnesota. She wrote for the Westbrook Sentinel, cooked for the Westbrook School and worked at the Keith Villa Dairy and Oak Grove Dairy, making ice cream. Jeraldine was a dedicated Sunday School and Bible School teacher for several years and a Girl Scout leader. She was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Westbrook. Jeraldine Olga Bunker passed away at her home in Westbrook, Minnesota on May 11, 2005, at the age of 83. She is survived by her husband Charles Alro Bunker, Westbrook; daughter Brenda Bunker; grandchildren Jacob and Tirhas Nygren, Matt Nygren, Meghen McNamara and Reginald Ratliff; great-grandchildren: Aaliyah Ratliff and Daejona Ratliff; Siblings Verna Cohrs, Ivan (Alice) Olsen, Dale (Marlys) Olsen, LaVae Schmidt and Garry (Kitty) Olsen; sisters-in-law Betty Olsen and Pat Olsen and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Georgina Wolfe, Imogene Patterson and brothers Lloyd and Orville Olsen. Funeral Services were held on Sunday 1:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Westbrook. Burial in Pleasant View Cemetery - Dovray, MN.
