Born Nov. 27, 1922, near Worthington, she was the daughter of Dick and Sophie Bierman Van Dasselaar. She married John Cuperus Feb. 15, 1946. She graduated from Worthington High School. After marriage, they farmed west of Fulda for 12 years, then moved southwest of Fulda, where they continued to farm. They retired in 1984 and moved into Fulda. She became a resident of the Golden Living Center in Slayton in 2005. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Fulda, where she was involved in circle and served on the funeral committee. She had also been a leader for Clover Bloom 4-H Club. Surviving are her husband; two sons, Gaylen (Marlene) Cuperus, Iona, and David (Lisa) Cuperus, Fulda; two daughters, Joan (Larry) Pederson, Fulda, and Carol (Bob) Steuck, Maple Grove; 10 grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Totzke Funeral Home, Fulda, and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church, Fulda. The service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church, Fulda, with the Rev. Robert Raedeke officiating.
