DeBough - 2005 Douglas H. DeBough was born October 17, 1946, to Mae McConnell Miller at Slayton, Minnesota. He went to school and graduated from Slayton, Minnesota. He was baptized and confirmed at the Slayton United Methodist Church. Doug attended the Jackson Vocational School to become a lineman. On June 7, 1969, he married Kathy Sorenson. Doug was employed by BENCO Electric for 35 years. In his leisure time he liked hunting, woodworking, computers and spending time with his grandchildren. Doug passed away on April 27, 2005 at Rochester, Minnesota at the age of 58. He is survived by his wife Kathy; daughter Julie (Scott) Berres, Rosemount, MN; his grandchildren: Nicholas and Grace, both of Rosemount, MN; his mother Mae (Bud) Miller, Hadley; brothers Stan (Verna) DeBough, Hampton, MN; Brian Miller, Hadley; sisters: Barb (Royce) Marble, Slayton, MN and Bonnie Gullickson, Marshall, MN and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Troy Douglas DeBough and brother Bruce Miller. Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 29, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. at Woodland Hills Chapel, Mankato, MN with Rev. John Petersen officiating. Guitarist was Myron Sandstrom. Pallbearers were Matthew Schnickels, Brian Bartsch, John Iverson, Archie Kendall, Willard Johnson, Joseph Steffl.
