FileFormat by Terri--MNArchives Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Judy Clarke Submitted: December 2004 ========================================================================= 1925 - Annetta Eisfeld - 2004 Annetta Eisfeld was born on January 31, 1925, on a farm in Chanarambie Township, Murray County, Minnesota to Bastiaan and Annie Vanthof Van Eck. She grew up on the family farm near Ruthton, Minnesota and attended country school District #103. On May 30, 1944, she and Herman Eisfeld were married. Following their marriage they farmed north of Lake Wilson and raised their two children. They retired from farming in 1981, and moved into Lake Wilson. Herman passed away on December 1, 1995. Annetta continued living in Lake Wilson. In April 1999, Annetta became a resident of the Slayton Manor Care Center and passed away there on December 15, 2004, at the age of 79. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Lake Wilson where she taught Sunday School and was active in the U.M.W. Annetta was an excellent cook. She enjoyed baking, vegetable gardening and was generous in sharing these talents. She also enjoyed playing cards and games with her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her two children and their spouses: Dwayne and Mary Eisfeld, Balaton, MN and Marie and Jerry Kloos, Minneota, MN; six grandchildren: Angie Witte, Leah Hunter, Mark Eisfeld, Janet Eisfeld, Jennifer Farasyn and Brian Kloos; seven great-grandchildren: David, Josiah, and Micah Hunter, Madison and Caleb Witte, Priya Eisfeld and Brock Farasyn; four brothers and their wives: John and Gerdena Van Eck, Ruthton, MN; Corky and Mary Van Eck, Ruthton, MN; Hugo Van Eck, Woodstock, MN and Bud and Janice Van Eck, Luverne, MN; and three sisters and their husbands: Nellie Ellgen, Lake Wilson, MN; Jenny and Bob Van Roekel, Sioux Falls, SD and Annie and Rich Severied, Layfayette, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Herman; infant brother; and sisters: Margaret Eisfeld and Cornelia Bodewitz. Funeral services were held at United Methodist Church in Lake Wilson, MN on Saturday, December 18, 2004, at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Gwen Bohlke officiating. The organist was Julie Brossard. Special music was by her grandchildren. The pallbearers were Don Van Eck, Glen Van Eck, Roger Ellgen, Dave Eisfeld, Mark Eisfeld, and Brian Kloos. Interment is at Hillside Cemetery in Lake Wilson, MN.
