Born March 8, 1903, in Granville, IA, she was the daughter of Herman and Anna Weber Hebbelman. She married Henry "Heine" Ella Sept. 28, 1926 in Slayton. He died Nov. 19, 1962. She moved with her family to Wilmont in 1911, where she attended school. In 1920, she moved to Slayton where she was employed with the Flynn Cafe. After marriage, they lived in Slayton where they owned and operated Heine's Auto and Repair and later owned Heine's Drive-Inn. She entered Slayton Manor Nursing Home in 1991. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, its Alter Society and Catholic Daughters and Royal Neighbors Club, serving as recorder for 60 years and sang with the Slayton Manor Nursing Home Choir. Surviving are one son, Rodney (Delores) Ella, Worthington; one daughter, Patricia (Dudd) Farrell, Slayton; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great- grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm today, with a 4:30 pm rosary and 7:30 pm prayer service, at Totzke Funeral Home, Slayton, and from 9:30 to 10:30 am Wednesday at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Slayton. The service will be 10:30 am Wednesday at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Slayton, with the Rev. John Ozburn officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
