Ella, age 51 of White Bear Lake passed away on Jan. 27, 1988 of cancer after being hospitalized for 2 months at St. John's Hospice in St. Paul. Mildred is survived by a daughter, Andrea of Maplewood, 2 sons, Jeffrey and Gregory, both of Denver. Also her father, William Thaler of Slayton; 2 brothers, Alvin Thaler of Backus and Jerome Thaler of Hadley; 4 sisters, Wilma Gustaf of Slayton, Leona Johnson of Hadley, Maxine Goin of Rolling Hills, CA and Betty Klophoke of New Munich. Preceding her in death was her husband Rex in Oct. 1986, her mother, and 2 brothers. Funeral services were at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the Lake Mortuary, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake. Funeral Mass was at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Pius X Church. Pallbearers were Mark Felton, John Roberts, Brian Salles, Steve Salles, Tim O'Leary, Ray Smith. Soloists were Joan Michard and Misse Johnson. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
