HABERMAN-2004 Ervin Joseph Haberman, the son of Moritz and Minnie Appel Haberman was born December 4, 1907 at Kinbrae, MN. He grew up on the family farm and attended grade school in Kinbrae and graduated from Fulda High School in 1926. Ervin was united in marriage to Evelyn Segar on January 30, 1940 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Dundee, MN. After their marriage they farmed west of Kinbrae. They moved into Fulda in 1972 after they retired from farming. He was a school bus driver for many years. In 2000 they moved to Maple View Estates in Fulda. Ervin passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2004 at the Worthington Regional Hospital at the age of 96. He was a member of St. Gabriel?s Catholic Church and the Catholic Order of Foresters. Ervin enjoyed fishing, gardening and square dancing. He also had a love of the land and enjoyed seeing things grow. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Adeline Hazeman and Beatrice Langer and one brother, Loren Haberman. Funeral services were held at St. Gabriel?s Catholic Church, Fulda, MN 2:00 PM Sunday, August 15, 2004 with the Msgr. Paul Evers and Fr. Clayton Haberman concelebrating. The song leader was Sheila Crowley. The pallbearers were Kevin Haberman, Terry Appel, Don Appel, Chris Ahlers, Dale Kremer, Richard Thompson and Harold Fischer. Honorary pallbearers were the Catholic Order of Foresters. Interment at St. Gabriel?s Catholic Cemetery, Fulda, MN.
