FileFormat by Terri--MNArchives Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Judy Clarke Submitted: April 2004 ========================================================================= Louise Hager's obituary - "Louise Theresa Hager the daughter of Frank and Louise Volkmann Ramert was born January 5, 1914 in Belfast Township, Murray County, MN.  She grew up on the family farm and attended country school and Fulda High School, graduating in 1932.  Louise was united in marriage to Clarence "Pat" Hager on February 1, 1937 at Fulda, MN.  Following their marriage they farmed near Fulda for 31 years and in the fall of 1967 they moved to Minneapolis, MN.  She then worked at the Target store in Bloomington, MN from 1967 to 1972.  In May 1977 they returned to live in Fulda.  Pat died on May 19, 1978.  Louise continued living in Fulda until moving back to the Twin Cities area to be near her children, of which she took great pride in.  Louise died on January 30, 2001 at St. Joseph's Hospital in St. Paul, MN at the age of 87.  She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in St. Paul and was a past member of St. Gabriel's Catholic Church in Fulda and past member of St. Gabriel's Ladies Aid.  Louise enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, playing cards, baking and dancing. Survivors include her five children and their spouses, Annette and Ken Anderson of Bloomington, MN, Judy and Jim Borg of Arden Hills, MN, Carolyn Maher of Oakdale, MN, Mark and Lorna Hager of Mankato, MN and Marlene Hager of Lawrence, KS; 14 grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one sister, Wilma Eshleman and her husband, Glen of Fulda.  She is preceded in death by her husband, sister, Rita Gerhard and son-in-law, Don Maher. Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church in Fulda, MN on Friday, February 2, 2001 at 11:00 A.M. with the Msgr. Paul Evers officiating.  The organist was Mary Ann Boom.  The soloist was Sheila Crowley.  The pallbearers were Steve O'Neil, Patrick O'Neil, Dan O'Neil, Tim Maher, Frank Acker, Chris Hager, Tim Dwyer and Julie Block."
