FileFormatted by Terri--MNArchives Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Judy Clarke Submitted: October 2004 ========================================================================= 1992 - Jacob Steven Hartle - 2004 Jacob Hartle, the son of Steven and Wendy Pederson Hartle, was born on September 11, 1992, in Worthington, Minnesota. He grew up on the farm with his sisters and brother. He attended Murray County Central West Elementary School and was in the sixth grade. Jacob passed away on October 3, 2004, at Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, as the result of an accident on the farm. He was 12 years old. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lake Wilson, Minnesota where he served as an altar boy. He belonged to Fenton Friends 4-H. Jacob enjoyed playing flag football, basketball, baseball, softball, playing trumpet, fishing, trapping, hunting, and archery. Jacob is survived by his parents Steve and Wendy Hartle, Chandler, MN; two sisters: Alexandra and Michaela and one brother Clayton, all at home; paternal grandparents Robert and Fidelis Hartle, rural Iona; maternal grandparents Jim and Jackie Pederson, Plainview, MN; and maternal great- grandmother Gertrude Bartley, Cambridge, MN. He was preceded in death by one infant sister Emily. Funeral services were held at St. Ann's Church in Slayton, MN on Wednesday, October 6, 2004, at 1:30 p.m. with Fr. Mark McNea officiating. Special music is by Group Therapy. Pallbearers are Steve Hartle, Scott Hartle, Dean Hartle, Bruce Bondhus, Rudy Gunnink, Jimmy Rausch, and Wes Pederson. Honorary pallbearers are Mark and Jannette Carlson, Mike and Carol Chapman, Larry and Bobbi Jo Gunnink, Kevin and Maureen Anderson and all of their families. Interment is at Hillside Cemetery, Lake Wilson, MN.
