1959-ROXANNE HOLTROP-2004 

 

Roxanne Lynn Holtrop, age 45, of Luverne, MN, died Thursday, August 12, 

2004 at the Hospice Cottage of Luverne. Funeral services were held 

Monday, August 16, at Grace Lutheran Church in Luverne. Burial will be at 

Maplewood Cemetery in Luverne.



Roxanne was born to Lyle and Carol (Krueger) Busch on June 5, 1959, at 

Worthington Regional Hospital. She was raised in Fulda, MN, attending 

grade school at St. Paul's Lutheran Elementary School and then graduated 

from Fulda Public High School in 1977. She went on to attend two years of 

schooling at Concordia College in St. Paul, MN. On August 18, 1979, 

Roxanne was united in marriage to Dennis Holtrop at St. Paul's Lutheran 

Church in Fulda. Following their marriage, they lived on a farm near 

Fulda before moving to Luverne, MN in 1985. She worked as a 

paraprofessional, and later as the Special Education secretary at the 

Luverne Elementary School. On Thursday, August 12, 2004, Roxanne died at 

the Hospice Cottage of Luverne at the age of 45 years, two months and 

seven days.



Roxanne was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Luverne. She enjoyed 

golfing, entertaining friends, and spending time with her family.



She is lovingly remembered by her husband Dennis; two daughters, Sara and 

her husband Colter Deutsch of Kanaranzi, MN, and Dawn and her husband 

Aaron Sandbulte of Kenneth, MN; parents; two brothers, Kevin Busch of 

Fulda, MN, along with his special friend Leann Allen, and Randy and his 

wife Michelle Busch of Eden Prairie, MN.



A tree will be planted in memory of Roxanne by Hospice of Luverne 

Community Hospital. Blessed be her memory.
