Jenkins, age 91, of Worthington, died, Friday, July 30, 2004 at Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Fulda. He was born May 8, 1913 in Elk River, MN; to his parents Frank and Susan (Sisk) Jenkins. he attended rural school in Nobles County and worked as a farm laborer for a few years. Clarence was united in marriage to Iva Jones on March 5, 1934. He served in the Minnesota National Guard and drove trucks for 44 years retiring in 1984. Clarence was a member of the Church of Christ in Worthington. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing pool and cards. He is survived by his two daughters, Elaine (Philip) Zins, Dundee, MN; Gloria (Richard) Worden, Coralville, IA; four grandchildren, Gary Zins, Dundee; Rich (Shelly) Zins, Brewster; Duane Worden, Iowa City and Debra (Michael) Cooper, West Branch, IA; four great grandchildren, Corey and Hunter Zins, Brewster; Alison and Alen Cooper, West Branch, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, four brothers, three sisters and sibling twins at birth. Services were held on Monday at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington with Rev. Jeff Hicks officiating. Burial will be at Worthington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
