1964 - Dawn Marie Kittredge - 2005 "Dee" 



  Dawn Kittredge was born on April 8, 1964, at Meriden, Connecticut to 

Harold and Donna Gowing Kittredge. She grew up in Meriden and was raised 

in the Baptist church. She graduated from Meriden High School in 1983, 

and then attended Vermont Community College for two years, studying 

photography. She moved to Vermont in 1990. She went back to Vermont 

Community College and then designed web pages and was a caregiver for 

disabled adults around St. Albans Town in Vermont. She moved to Slayton, 

Minnesota in 2003, and worked at several health care facilities in the 

area and most recently worked at HSI in Worthington. Dawn passed away on 

April 27, 2005, as a result of a car accident. She was 41 years old. Dawn 

enjoyed photography, liked Ozzy Osborne and spending time with her family 

and friends. 

  Survivors include her two sons: Daniel Kittredge and his fiancée, Jackie 

Polzine, Worthington and David Kittredge, Slayton; her fiancé, Jody 

Onken, Slayton, whom she was planning to marry on September 17, 2005; her 

mother Donna and her husband Richard Jewell, St. Albans, VT; and two 

brothers: Roger Kittredge, Newport, VT, and Harold Kittredge and his 

fiancée, Donna Gabree, Alburg, VT. She was preceded in death by her 

father and grandparents. 

  Memorial services will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in Avoca, MN 

on Thursday, May 5, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Gloria Anderson 

officiating. The organist is Sherri Isder. Interment is at St. Albans 

Town, VT. Dateline Slayton: Visitation will be on Thursday from 9:00 to 

10:00 a.m. at the Church in Avoca. Totzke Funeral Home in Slayton is in 

charge of arrangements.
