He grew up in the Fulda area where his parents farmed and received his education from the Dist. 95 school. He had been a farm laborer working throughout the Fulda area, working last for Anton Hager at Lime Creek, Minn. He was a member of the St. Gabriel's Catholic Church in Fulda, Minn. On Aug. 15, 1974, he passed away at the Murray County Hospital, Slayton, Minn. at the age of 71 years. Survivors include 1 brother, Adolph, San Pablo, Calif.; 1 sister, Margaret, Mrs. Walter Deslauriers, Curries, Minn.; 3 nieces: Mrs. George Sanderson, Currie, Minn.; Mrs. Patrick Donahue, Mt. Carmel, Ill.; Mrs. Victor Cullingham, San Pablo, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Joseph, and 1 nephew, Dennis Deslauriers. Funeral services held Sat. Aug. 17, 1974, 10:30 a.m., St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, Fulda, Minn., Rev. Donald Olson, officiating. Pallbearers : Joe Kaiser, Otto Koestler, Raymond Heger, Fred Schumm, Clarence Schweigert, and Robert Mixell. Interment in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Avoca, Minn.
