Mr. Puhl, son of Peter and Anna Puhl, was born in Charles City, IA on July 5, 1889.  Mr. Puhl and Minnie Ramert were united in marriage on October 29, 1911.  They lived for a time on a farm near Currie, then in 1936 moved to Exland, WI and made their home there until 1936 when they returned to this community, settling first in Dundee.  Ten years later they came to Fulda and operated a grocery store.  Mrs. Puhl passed away on January 5 of this year.  Mr. Puhl is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Haberman, and Mrs. Dan Keasling (Viola) of Fairmont.  There are five grandchildren."
