(Hurley) Tobin, 83, of 2730 Hickory Hill died at 11:40 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2005, at The Finely Hospital, Dubuque. Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Daniel Knepper officiating. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Dubuque, Iowa. Friends called from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday March 4, 2005 at the Leonard Funeral Home, Dubuque, Iowa. She was born on October 20, 1921, in Fulda, Minnesota, daughter of Daniel and Emma (Schu) Hurley. She married Thomas H. Tobin on March 2, 1957 at the St. Gabriel Church, Fulda Minnesota; he preceded her in death on Feb. 6, 1984. Mary graduated from Fulda High School in 1938. She worked prior to her marriage for Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. in Fulda. She was a member of St. Anthony's Parish and involved with the Rosary Society and Circle groups. She enjoyed her grandchildren, cooking and gardening. Surviving are three sons, Terry (Patty) Tobin, of Dubuque, Iowa, Dan (Kris) Tobin of Dixon, Illinois, and Robert (Mary) Tobin of Solon, Iowa: four grandchildren, Caren, Andy, Thomas, and Nicholas; and two brothers Raymond(LaVonne) Hurley, of Bloomington, Minnesota and Bernard "Garrett" (Marjorie) Hurley of Richfield, Minnesota. She also was preceded in death by a sister Catherine Illg, Curie Minnesota, and a brother Robert Hurley, Los Angeles, California. A Mary M.
