Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Vivian Christensen Charles Dorn and Alice Irrgang Wedding announcement Nicollet Leader, November 20, 1920 Married: November 12, 1920 Miss Alice Irrgang and Charles Dorn, both popular young people of New Ulm and well known in this vicinity, were married at the Catholic church in New Ulm Tuesday morning at 8 o'clock by Rev. N. J. Duerr. They were attended by Miss Frances Sondag, a cousin of the groom and William Irrgang, a brother of the bride. After the ceremony the bridal party and invited guests repaired to the home of the bride's cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Peter J. Jutz, where the bride has been staying, and partook of a wedding dinner, which was served to the immediate relatives. In the evening a dance was given at the New Ulm armory in honor of the newlyweds. For the past six years the bride has successfully taught in the rural schools of Nicollet county. She is an accomplished young lady of excellent attainments and has a host of friends. The groom is a product of this county and is employed in New Ulm where the young people go to housekeeping. A host of good wishes is extended.
