Submitted by: Vivian Christensen ************************************************************************* Mrs. Peter Dorn nee: Dorothy Laue Obituary abstracted from the Journal August 28, 1936 Died: August 25, 1936 Place: Her home Cause of death: Infirmities of old age Born: February 1, 1861 in Hanover, Germany Parents: Mr. & Mrs. Henry Laue Immigrated: At age three and settled on a farm near Swan Lake in Brighton township, Nicollet county Married: July 20, 1880 at the Holy trinity Catholic church Spouse: Peter Dorn, who survives Survived by: William Dorn, McGregor, MN, Anton Dorn, Clements, Philip Dorn, Kenosha, WI, Ernest Dorn, winthrop, Mrs. Nick Morson, Mankato, Miss Mary Dorn, at home. Three children preceded her in death. One step-son, Lambert Dorn, of Brighton township also survives, as well as, 32 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and siblings; Barney laue, of Watertown, S. D., Ernest Laue, Gibbon, and Mrs. Paul Marzahn, Tuler, S. D. Funeral services: Thursday morning at 9 o'clock in the Holy Trinity Catholic church. Interment at the Catholic cemetery in St. George.
