Died: March 10, 1964
Born: June 13, 1886 in Meigs County, Ohio
Spouse: Orma Belle Smith who preceded him in death
Married: December 23, 1913

Personal data: Farmed for thirty years in Granby township, was retired.

Survived by: Leona M. Betzing, at home; two sons, Carl R., Granby 
township, and Ernest Jr., in the air force at Verona, Italy; one 
grandchild, and one brother, Charles, of Meigs County, Ohio.

Funeral services: March 13th at the Klein Funeral Home.  Rev. Charles 
Lamson officiated.  Soloist-Miss Diane Hoppe.  Accompanist-Miss Alice 
Baver.   Pallbearers: George Vollmer, Cleveland Edwin Bauer, Irvin Oslund, 
Irvin Wills, Charles Zins and Leonard Giefer all of Nicollet.
