	After a lingering illness John A. Dorn died last Sunday 
[October 9, 1910] at the home of his mother, Mrs. Philip Dorn in New Ulm.  
Deceased was born July 20th, 1889 in Hastings, but had lived the greater 
part of his life in Brighton township, this county.  About a month ago the 
family moved to New Ulm.  The deceased is survived by his mother and two 
sisters.  The funeral was held Wednesday forenoon from the Swan Lake 
Catholic church, Rev. Skluzacek conducting the services, and the remains 
were interred in the church cemetery.  The bereaved relatives have the 
sympathy of all their friends.
