He went to bed on the evening previous apparently as well as usual and slept with a little four year old boy. When found in the morning he had his arms partly folded and had passed away without a struggle. Dr. Daniels was called early and he is satisfied that Mr. K. must have died about midnight of rheumatism of the heart. Mr. K. was born in Luxemburg, Germany, on Oct. 12th, 1836, and was therefore almost 50 years old. He came to America 29 years ago, and has made Minnesota his home during this time. During the war he served honorably for three years in the Second Minnesota Calvary. He was a member of the St. Peter Catholic Aid Society, and was also a member of the Catholic Life Insurance Company of this state, and his family will receive $1000 from the society; he was also a member of A.K. Skaro Post. He leaves a wife and five children, (2 children--Edward and Mathias Joseph--having already passed away) the oldest being 9 years old and the youngest but a few months. The funeral services will be held on Sunday at the Catholic church at 4 o'clock, Father Sorenson officiating.
