Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Vivian Christensen Lambert Dorn The Review, January 15, 1913 Died January 11, 1913 Saturday morning Lambert Dorn died at the home of his daughter-in-law Mrs. Eva Dorn, North Minnesota Street from ailments incident to old age, aged a few months less than 90 years. The deceased was born in Prussia, Germany May 26, 1823 and came to this country fifty years ago and located in Wisconsin. Some years later he came to Nicollet County and took a homestead in the Town of Brighton where he resided until he came to New Ulm two years ago. He was married twice. The first marriage was performed in the old country. His wife died while they lived in Wisconsin and he remarried before he came to Minnesota. His second wife died five years ago. He is survived by his son Peter Dorn of St. George and his daughters, Mrs. Adam Epper of New Ulm and Mrs. Anton Hahn of Brighton, thirty grandchildren and forty-five great grand children. There were funeral services at the local Catholic church at 8 o'clock Tuesday morning and the remains were taken to the Swan Lake Cemetery for interment. Rev. Sklusacek conducted the funeral service at the Swan Lake Catholic church.
