She had been living with her son Carl Stolt and family. For more than a year Mrs. Stolt has been in failing health and her passing was not a surprise to her family. Her husband preceded her in death seven years ago, as did also four children. The deceased was born in Pommern, Germany February 16, 1851 and was thus 74 years old at the time of her death. When she was 17 years old she came to America with her mother and they settled in Nicollet county. When she was twenty years of age she was married to Christian Stolt and 12 children blessed this marriage. Those who survive are: Mrs. Marie Wenholz, Hinkle, Minn.; Christ Stolt, Lewisville, Minn.; Julius of Seattle, Wash.; John and Carl of Nicollet; Paul Stolt, Dubois, Idaho; Rudy Stolt, Los Angeles, Calif.; and Mrs. Annie Wills of Nicollet. Two step-daughters, Mrs. Emma Johnson of Nicollet, and Mrs. Minnie Kettner, Springfield, besides 35 grandchildren mourn the passing of this beloved woman. Funeral services were held from the home Wednesday (today) at one o'clock wit the Rev. Strassen of Courtland reading the last service and interment was made in the Lutheran cemetery at Courtland. All of the children except the son Rudy were present at the funeral of their mother.
