Parsons Married: August 15, 1935 Occupation: Teacher, secretary Personal data: Born in Tipton, Iowa and grew up in St. Peter, Minnesota. Taught school in the Nicollet area and in various places in the midwest. Secretary for Von Ruden Manufacturing Co. in Claremont. She and her husband managed a restaurant in Traverse. She retired in Nicollet and later moved to Wisconsin. Accomplishments: She was the first woman to manage a grain elevator in New Ulm. Survived by: Two daughters and their husbands, Maxine and Dominic Sparacino of West Plains, Mo., and Kay and Ralph Boruch of Wausau; one son and his wife, Randy and Rita Parsons of Canon City, Co.; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-granchildren and one sister, Ruby Schmit of St. Peter. She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother, Clive Betzing.
