Rose (1908) JOHN S. COX, a well known resident of Nobles county, resides on his farm in Olney township, two miles northeast of Adrian. He was born in Towanda, Ill., in 1865. Later he moved with his parents to Gibson City. In 1880 he married Miss Dineen, of Ottawa, Ill. Mr. Cox moved to Adrian about twenty years ago where he engaged in farming and stock raising. He has at present about twenty-five head of Aberdeen-Angus cattle. The family of Mr. Cox consists of five daughters and four sons. The eldest daughter resides in Chicago, and the others live at home.
