Okenfuss dated May 8, 2000.) LUCY HENDEL THOMPSON (1877-1953) Lucy Hendel, daughter of Phillip and Catherine, was born 4 August 1877 in Caledonia, Minnesota. On 27 November 1906 she married Frank Thompson in Lismore, Minnesota. He was born 25 November 1880 in Lismore, Minnesota. They had a son, Orall (1908-1909), and also raised Amelia Bauer, a daughter of Lucy's sister, Margaret. Family information holds that Frank went to Idaho to help out his uncle who owned a silver mine. Sometime before that he lived in Rosalind, Alberta, near Caspar. Lucy died 16 Feb 1953 in Emmet, Gem County, Idaho, and Frank died 18 May 1961 in Horseshoe Bend, Boise County, Idaho. They are buried in the Pioneer Cemetery in Horseshoe Bend, Idaho. MARY HENDEL (1879-1891) Mary Hendel, daughter of Phillip and Catherine, was born 24 February 1879 and died on 28 December 1891 in Adrian, Minnesota. According to her death certificate she died of typhoid fever.
