JOHN HENRY ARENS, 55, of San Luis Obispo, formerly of Wilmont, died 

Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, in San Luis Obispo.

  Born April 13, 1949, he was the son of Alphons and Rose Hartman Arens. 

He married Anita Klingenborg Jan. 20, 1968, in Wilmont. They were later 

divorced.

  Surviving are one daughter, Liza Melissa Jeantete, Taos, N.M.; one 

brother, Joseph (Eloise) Arens, Grass Valley, Calif.; four sisters, 

Margaret (Zack) Bachmeier, Modesto, Calif., Carolyn (Bob) Bruns and 

Teresa (Paul) Nasers, both of Worthington, and Bonita (Bill) Kumm, 

Northville, Mich.; and one granddaughter.

  The service will be 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Church, Worthington, 

followed by a gathering at the Eagles Lodge.
