Ida Chukker WORTHINGTON - Funeral for Ida A. Chukker, 67, was Dec 2 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Andrew Olsem officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery [Wilmont]. Mrs. Chukker died Nov. 29 at Worthington. Ida Ann (Remakel) Remackel, daughter of Jacob and Suzanna Hennaco [or Henniko] (Remakel) Remackel, was born Aug. 17, 1922, in Wilmont. She attended school in Wilmont for eight years and was graduated from Worthington High School. She was also graduated from Worthington Junior College. On Oct. 6, 1943, she married Donald Chukker at Ft. Monmouth, N. J. They live in Worthington where she worked as a bookkeeper for Western Implement and then A. J. Satre for a number of years. She then worked for the dentists, Hubert and Gruye, for 10 years. The Chukkers then managed the Legion Club for 13 years. Her husband died in 1983. She continued working for the Legion and the Elks clubs. Mrs. Chukker is survived by a son Rodney, San Diego, and two grandchildren. ======================================================================== Copyright.
