CATHERINE VERON Mrs. Catherine Vernon 51, died Monday afternoon after a three-year illness, having been confined at a local hospital for the past nine months. The body will be at Landkamer funeral home until 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, when it will be taken to Windom [MN]. Funeral services will be at 9:30 Wednesday morning at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic church at Windom. Burial will be at the cemetery there. Nephews of the deceased will be pallbearers. Mrs. Veron, nee Weber, was born at Ottosen IA., April 15, 1894, the daughter of Anton and Mary Weber. She is survived by three daughters; Mrs. Francis Arens [Henrietta Remackel] of Rushmore [MN], and Adeline and Delores of Mankato, and five grandchildren [David, Beverly, Robert, Gerald and Marvin Arens]. She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. Felix LeBrun [Wilhelmina] of Mapleton [MN], Mrs. George Gartner [Eva] of Windom [MN], Peter of Graceville [MN], Tony of Mankato [MN], Sister M. Eustachia [Magdaleine] of Adrian [MN], and Mrs. Joseph Scholtus [Anne] of Mankato.
