This obit is from the 8/17/1990 paper. They happen to be on the same page as me deceased ancestor. WORTHINGTON GLOBE 8/17/1990 - "Earl J Wendling, 62, St. Cloud, formerly of Round Lake, died Thursday, August 2, 1990 at St. Cloud. Born February 21, 1928 in Worthington he was the son of Martin and Tena Wendling, Round Lake. He married Joan Mills, St. Cloud. He attended school in Round Lake and graduated in 1945. He enlisted I the US Navy for four years and then enlisted in the US Air Force, remaining until his retirement in 1969. He was a member of VFW 3227, American Legion Post 80, and Disabled American Veterans 148, all of St. Cloud. Surviving are his wife; one son, Earl Weendling, St. Cloud; one daughter, Linda Moore, Windermere, FL; one step-daughter, Bobbie Mills, St. Cloud; his mother, Tena Wendling, Round Lake, two sisters, Mrs. Sally (Tony) Roos, Sonoma, CA, and Mrs. Darlene (Don) Williams, Round Lake; two brothers, Lloyd Wendling, Round Lake, and Martin Wendling Jr, Colorado Springs, CO; and four grandchildren. The service was August 4 and burial was in Mount Peace Cemetery, St. Cloud. Fisk Funeral Home, St. Cloud, was in charge of arrangements."
